Karl Schmidt, 21, and David Cash, 52, two Miami-Dade men were charged with first-degree murder, due to the December drug-related death of 22-year-old Daniel Calle. Cash got a controlled substance sale charge. In Addition, Miami-Dade officials say the county medical examiner’s autopsy revealed Calle’s death on ‘’acute fentanyl and cocaine toxicity’’.

Schmidt, who was gotten in Palm Beach County, was the companion whom Calle requested to purchase heroin on Dec. 11, specialists state. He was the companion who repurchased the heroin and conveyed it to Calle’s place, in the 7000 square of North Augusta Drive. After they utilized it, cops state, both lost consciousness. Schmidt woke up hours after the fact. Calle didn’t. At the point when Schmidt discovered Calle unconscious — truly — he left without calling 911.

Schmidt and Cash admitted their own crimes. Cash is also in Miami-Dade County jail on nine counts of car burglary and three counts of drug charges over six different cases.
